No account is required. Local tools process files on your device. Advanced conversions send selected files over HTTPS to our server, where they are temporarily stored for processing; temporary files and results are deleted after the request. Saved results remain on your device until deleted. Technical server logs may include IP addresses and request information.
From version 1.0.6, the app may show Google AdMob banners. Document and photo contents are not sent to AdMob. Google and its partners may process IP addresses, approximate location, available device/app identifiers, app and ad interactions, advertising data, crash logs and performance data for advertising, measurement, analytics, security and service improvement. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. We do not request precise GPS location. Google's processing and retention are explained in the policies linked above.
Google UMP provides consent or opt-out choices where applicable. Required privacy choices can be reopened from Settings. File tools remain available if consent is refused or ads fail. The app is intended for adults. Contact aio_27@hotmail.com for privacy requests.

On iPhone, Google Analytics for Firebase is optional and disabled by default. We do not initialize Firebase Analytics before you allow analytics. Once allowed, the service sends Google an app-instance identifier, device/OS/app information, language and approximate location derived from IP addresses. Automatic events include first open after installation or reinstallation, sessions, engagement time and app/OS updates. These provide usage statistics that can help evaluate Mohawel campaigns. Firebase Installations also collects technical diagnostic data for analytics that is not linked to a user or device identifier and is not used for tracking. AdMob integration may also provide ad impression and interaction events. The first_open event measures a first launch, not a download without a launch. Our settings support basic measurement and do not attribute every installation to a particular ad.
We do not set an Analytics account user ID or add custom events containing file names or contents. Automatic screen reporting is disabled. We use the Analytics variant without Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) collection and disable collection of Apple's identifier for vendor (IDFV). Allowing analytics grants analytics storage only; advertising storage, advertising user-data sharing and ad personalization remain denied in Analytics. Usage events can still be associated with the app-instance identifier for measurement. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's policies for processing and retention information.
An optional card on the Home screen lets you allow or decline analytics without blocking the app. Settings provides the same choice and lets you disable or re-enable analytics at any time. Your choice is stored locally. Turning analytics off disables collection and analytics consent; it does not automatically request deletion of data previously sent to Google. File tools work regardless of this choice.
Android version 1.0.8 may display a full-screen ad after every two successful operations when an ad is ready and ad consent permits it. The current iPhone version and earlier versions using the previous counter retain an interval of three successful operations. Failed operations and importing, deleting or sharing files do not count toward this interval.

You can enable operation-completion alerts and news about tools and updates separately in Mohawel settings. App news is off by default. We register your device only after you accept the in-app disclosure and allow notifications in your device’s system settings.
Operation-completion alerts are created on your device. They contain no filename or file contents, and this feature does not send your files to a notification service.
When you enable app news, Mohawel sends its notification server your device’s push token, a random installation identifier, app language, device platform, app version and delivery environment. We use these details to manage your subscription and deliver Mohawel news in the appropriate language. The subscription does not include filenames, files, photos or their contents.
News is delivered through Apple’s push notification service on Apple devices and through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android when that service is available. The delivery provider receives the device token, notification content and technical information needed for delivery. The Android service also uses Firebase Installations to create an app-installation identifier and processes technical information such as the app version and runtime environment needed for delivery and service maintenance. Google’s processing and retention follow the Firebase policy linked above. We do not use Expo’s notification relay.
You can withdraw consent by switching off app news in Mohawel settings. The local preference changes immediately and the app requests deletion of your server subscription. If the request cannot connect, the app shows a pending unsubscribe and retries when you open or return to the app with a connection. News may continue until the server confirms deletion, and notifications already sent may still arrive. You can immediately stop notification display in your device’s system settings. Mohawel also requests unsubscribe when it detects that system notification permission has been withdrawn.
Successful unsubscribe deletes the server subscription record, including its push token. A minimal revocation record is retained for 180 days to prevent delayed registration requests from re-enabling the subscription. It contains only the random identifier, an authentication-secret hash, and revocation and expiry timestamps; it contains no push token or profile details. Subscriptions expire 180 days after their last refresh, are excluded from delivery, and are removed by service cleanup. Limited delivery records, including the random identifier, a token hash, delivery status and timestamps, may be retained for up to 180 days under the service’s cleanup policy. These records contain no filenames or file contents.
